About

I’m Addi Panadero, an illustrator, designer, and author based in Antipolo, Philippines. I grew up reading fairy tales, strolling with chickens, and blowing bubbles out of Gumamela petals. These memories inform my work, which usually depict delicate fantasies of Filipino culture, heritage, and flora.

In 2022, my book CELY’S CROCODILE: The Art and Story of Araceli Limcaco Dans, won a 2022 National Children’s Book Award. In 2024, another book, BAHAY: A Tour of Traditional Filipino Homes, won a Red Award at the Good Design Awards Philippines. In addition to books, my work has also appeared in publications such as Tatler, Grid, and Adobo, as well as in materials for brands like Bench Ternocon, Owa Sylvia, and Archipelago Botanical Gin. I would love to work on projects that explore heritage, history, flora, and fantasy.
